Whilst the poor weather conditions are ongoing, the severe weather policy remains in place. As per the policy, staff and students are advised to continue checking local weather and travel advice before travelling to campus over the weekend - ensuring they feel safe to travel and making alternative arrangements as appropriate and necessary.

Heads of department have been asked to disseminate this message via local routes, and will advise their staff on key operational priorities for over the weekend which will inform decisions on staffing requirements.

Staff are expected to return to usual working arrangements from Monday 5 March unless we notify colleagues via heads of department, insite and Twitter that the policy remains in place for the purposes of staff and student welfare.
