Student Project Competition

Warwick Volunteers has launched a competition, supported by Santander Universities, to find exciting new volunteering projects that will benefit the local community! If you have a good idea, you could receive funding of up to £1000 to develop a project and win up to £100 for yourself!

If you fancy a challenge, have the qualities to be a good leader, are hardworking and committed and want to leave your mark on Warwick, this is your perfect opportunity.

Competition Overview

  1. You can apply individually, or as part of a group, club, or society.
  2. Your project must be a volunteering activity that will directly benefit members of the local community in Coventry, Kenilworth or Leamington.
  3. Projects may be short-term but must be able to demonstrate an ongoing benefit, for example by teaching people a new skill.
  4. It is not necessary to already have contact with a school or community organisation, as Warwick Volunteers can support you to make contacts as your project is developed. However, you must be able to show that you have identified a genuine community need, so you may wish to discuss your idea with potential community partners before submitting your entry.
