With the new academic year starting on Monday 30 September 2013, the University would like to welcome the new students who will be joining us this year, and welcome back the students who are returning for further study. We wish you all a happy and productive new academic year.
The start of every new academic year is a busy and exciting time for everyone. To help you keep on top of everything that’s going on and the various things you need to get done, we’ve put together several pages and articles that may be of use to you.
If this is your first year at Warwick, you should take a look at our Welcome to Warwick website, set up to help you settle in, and keep you informed of what you need to do during your first few weeks on campus. You may find the page on what to do in your first week on campus particularly useful.
To celebrate the new arrivals, and the start of a new academic year, the Freshers Party will be taking place on Friday 11 October. Visit the Students Union website for information on all Freshers activities including the Freshers Fair and Freshers Fortnight.
The aim of the International Orientation programme is to welcome new international students to the UK, to help them begin to learn about what it means to be living and studying here, and to benefit from all that the University of Warwick offers. International Orientation will run from Tuesday 24 - Friday 27 September 2013.
Living off Campus
If you’re living off campus, you may want to read our article on being a good neighbour. The article contains information and links on how to settle in to your new community and forge good relationships with the households around you.
Visit the Students’ Union Housing Hub for advice and support on all housing issues relating to living off campus.
