TEDxWarwick is an annual conference held in the Arts Centre's Butterworth Hall and this year we've got a world-leading stem cell surgeon, NY Times bestselling author on Big Data, the first ever female presidential candidate of Cameroon, a world-leading violinist, THePETEBOX and many more speakers.
Visit the TEDx website to buy tickets and for the complete line-up and speaker descriptions.
This is TEDx Warwick's 5th annual conference. Since its inception as a relatively small-scale student event, TEDxWarwick has expanded to become a full-day, 1,200-strong world-class conference attracting intellectually curious participants from across the UK and Europe.
TEDx was launched by the global organisation TED (Technology, Entertainment & Design) with the mission statement: "ideas worth spreading." TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. You can watch previous years talks online.
