I wish to make a clarification to the details on deduction of 25% for ASOS that was published on insite as part of our FAQs. National discussions have made it clear that UCU is not asking its members to take ASOS if this would put them in breach of their contract. This is very important.

As long as the contract is being performed there will be no deduction of pay. We will be asking individuals to focus their contractual time on assessment, feedback, teaching and other activities which enable students to progress and succeed.
