Our new campaign to recruit undergraduate students for 2018 entry has now launched. The integrated cross-channel campaign, which features current undergraduate students, showcases Warwick’s academic strengths while celebrating the wider student experience.
The ‘Power of you’ campaign concept represents how it feels to study and live at Warwick, bringing out particular emotions and highlighting the freedom Warwick students have to shape their own University experience. It emphasises academic challenge but brings it to life by considering what this means to different types of students. The concept was developed using research insights from focus groups with Years 12 and 13 students, analysis of the Acceptors and Decliners survey, video interviews with graduates and discussion with prospective students.
To support the campaign, a photoshoot featuring current students took place, creating a bank of dynamic, emotive and impactful photography. The students involved represented a wide range of subject areas and had a broad range of interests outside their studies.
Nicky Ginns, Marketing Communications Officer, said:
It’s important that the campaign feels real and resonates with our audience, which is mainly Year 12 students. The concept centres on how individual students experience Warwick differently, so we wanted to ensure that our current students were, and continue to be, heavily involved at every stage – from the initial research to the photoshoot, quotes and profiles."
The campaign will run for an 18-month cycle, with rollout across a range of channels – including print, website, social media, video and digital signage – beginning this week. The printed prospectus is now ready for distribution to prospective 2018 applicants, and our 2018 entry UG Study web pages are also live.
If you would like to request copies of the printed prospectus for your department, please email Vivien Price in the Student Recruitment and Admissions Office, with your requirements.
