Update for Warwick 11 May: Response to the Prime Minister's statement

Hear from Stuart Croft, Vice-Chancellor, following the Prime Minister's address to the nation on Sunday 10 May 2020.

"Many of you will have listened last night to the Prime Minister's address to the nation about the measures the government will take to ease us out of lockdown. We expect to receive further detail tonight and in the coming days, and will take our time to work our way through the implications for Warwick. But for now I would like to stress that there are no immediate changes to the ways in which we are operating or working. So, if you are on furlough leave, please remain on furlough leave; if you are working from home, please remain at home; and if you are one of the few staff who have permission to work on campus because you are a critical worker, please continue to do so.

In summary, we will continue to work and operate this week, and for the coming weeks, just as we did last week. Teaching and assessments continue to be online only.

Later today there is a meeting of Heads of Department, and I will be following up with a further all-staff message about our plans for recovery later today. Meanwhile, stay safe and I send you all my best wishes."
