Following on from the security incident the University has experienced recently, IT Services will be initiating a full virus scan (using Kaspersky) on all Windows 7 managed desktops on Tuesday 2 July, from 12 noon.

While the scan is running, your machine may run slower than normal. You will not have to do anything, however, if a virus is detected, you will be informed that the corrupt file has been automatically deleted.

A full scan of work area machines and XP managed Desktops has been underway since 28 June.
