We’re looking for staff from across the University to help provide deeper insight and dialogue for institutional communications planning and to help inform decision making. Find out below how you can shape our future communications and how we share insight from staff with the senior leadership team to inform decision-making.

Be a voice of our staff community

No matter what your role is, we want to hear from you. We’re looking for a diverse group of volunteers to provide regular feedback and views to boost our community connectivity, especially as many of us continue to work remotely. We need staff from teaching and research roles, professional service roles centrally and in academic departments, and non-pc based staff too.

By signing up, as part of a panel you’ll provide insight into staff perceptions on University communications, as well as key priorities, topics and issues. We’ll share this insight with University leaders to inform planning and decision-making, though won’t identify the individuals who’ve participated in our listening session panels – this will be kept confidential.

A similar provision already exists for students.

What happens after I sign up?

We’ll be in contact to invite you to discuss opportunities as they arise. Panels will likely take place via Microsoft Teams. These sessions will happen every two or three weeks, with agreed topics, and we’ll capture feedback and output from these sessions. In terms of time commitment, not every session is compulsory.
