The WMG Academy for Young Engineers is holding an exhibition of the plans for the Academy on Wednesday 5 June between 3.30pm and 7.30pm at the Westwood Academy.
Representatives from the WMG Academy team will be available at the exhibition to discuss the plans and answer questions.
Situated close to the University of Warwick and with strong links to local employers, the new ground breaking campus is being created through a partnership between the WMG Academy for Young Engineers and the Westwood Academy.
Building is due to start in September 2013 and the Academy will open to students in September 2014.
Named as one of several successful new University Technical College projects in May 2012 by the Department for Education, the WMG Academy will focus on engineering, ICT and digital technologies for young people aged 14-19 from Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull.
The Westwood and WMG Academies will remain independent of each other, retaining their own distinct identities and ethos whilst enjoying the benefits of a close working relationship, including the sharing of refurbished dining facilities, sports hall and changing rooms.
There is no need to book in advance - so please just drop in if you’re interested.
