Our Vice-Chancellor
Vice-Chancellor's Letter to Staff: April 2009
2 April 2009
Politicians, economists and managers around the world are attempting to grapple with the unprecedented global economic crisis which is now affecting every sector of the economy, and most of them accept that things are likely to get significantly more difficult before a more robust global economic system emerges.
Like all our competitors the University is operating in a period of great uncertainty and it is clear that we will all have to plan for, and take account of, significantly more unusual and potentially destabilising events than is typical in a normal planning cycle.
