Brief Encounter - Kay Rainsley
Kay Rainsley is Administrative Co-ordinator for the Open Studies department, and is responsible for Publicity and marketing for the Open Studies programme; tutor liaison; organising venues; tutor meetings; awards ceremony; putting together the tutor newsletter and helping to ensure the smooth running of the programme.
University of Warwick Coull Quartet - the University's Quartet in Residence
You might not be aware that the University is in the unique position of having its own resident string quartet based on campus. And in fact at Warwick the Coull Quartet will celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of their residency next year.
This September they have appointed a new administrator, Abby Corfun, to help them develop their work at the University and beyond.

Warwick People - David Kelly
David Kelly (1920-2006), the University's first Deputy Librarian, died in June at the age of 86. He was appointed in 1963 and was one of the earliest of the University's employees. His first role in the Library combined being Head of Technical Services with the administrative work which usually falls to the Deputy Librarian.
Warwick Farewell - Professor Julian Gardner
Julian Gardner, Founding Professor in the Department of History of Art, retired at the end of September. Professor Gardner was central to the establishment of the History of Art Department in 1974 and held a number of important roles during his time at Warwick.
