Warwick Welcomes - Sam McClenaghan, BSc S'ton, ICAEW, formerly Financial Accounting Manager at AGCO Ltd, to Head of Finance at Warwick Ventures from 27 June 2005.

Ken Wallis, Emeritus Professor of Econometrics, will deliver the 2005 Sir Richard Stone Lectures in London on 17 and 24 October.

The University is sad to report that Warwick alumnus Professor Paul Geroski died from cancer on Sunday 28 August, aged 52.

Professor John Tomlinson CBE, former Director of the Institute of Education at Warwick (1985-1997), and Emeritus Professor, has died.

Kat Stark is the new President of the University's Students' Union. She is the primary representative for the student body and is the Chair of the Union's Executive Committee and the main point of contact for all external bodies. Prior to her appointment, Kat was the Union's Societies and Student Development Officer.
