Warwick Farewell - Gwen Payne

Gwen Payne, Departmental Secretary in the Institute of Education, recently retired after a 25-year career with the University, in a number of secretarial roles. Gwen was appointed as the first Departmental Secretary for the Institute of Education when it was formed in August 1994 and during her time at Warwick worked with many colleagues and made many friends.

Brief Encounter - Reena Sodha

2005 is the Year of the Volunteer - a year-long celebration of the work volunteers do and a call to action to get more people volunteering.

Reena Sodha is the new Student President of Warwick Volunteers. Warwick Volunteers is a student society which provides opportunities for students and staff at the University to volunteer and help disadvantaged groups in the local community. In addition to three full-time members of staff, Warwick Volunteers is overseen by an Executive Committee of volunteers who meet regularly and deal with the administration and promotion of the society.
