Warwick welcomes Dr Shahed Imam, BCom, MCom Dhaka, MPhil, PhD Camb., formerly Lecturer in Accounting at Dhaka University, to Lecturer in Accounting in Warwick Business School, from 1 February 2005.

The University has announced that the new Director of the Careers Service will be Roberta Wooldridge Smith.

Julia Pidgeon works in the Communications Office, which is responsible for all internal and external communication and deals with press and media relations, public affairs, corporate communication, community relations and international PR.

Warwick Farewell - Robin Green, Head of the Research and Innovation Unit in the Library, from 28 February 2005, to take up the post of Executive Director of the Consortium of Research Libraries in the British Isles.

Robin would like to thank all of his colleagues and friends for making his time at the University so enjoyable and says he will miss the lunchtime squash league! If you would like to stay in touch with Robin, he can be contacted via the Librarian's PA, Andy Harvey.

Warwick Farewell - John Wooderson, Accounts Officer in the Estates Office, retired on 31 January 2005.
