Gareth Johnson has recently joined the University to fill the position of Service Innovation Officer in the Library, a role he shares with fellow newcomer Jenny Delasalle (Brief Encounter with Jenny to follow).

The Registrar is delighted to announce the appointment of Bob Wilson as the Universitys new Director of Estates. Bob is a Chartered Architect and since 1997 has been the director of estates and buildings at the University of Glasgow.

Professor Roger Burridge, of the School of Law, has been awarded an MBE in this year's New Year's Honours List for services to the Health and Safety Executive.

Janet Jones, Administrative Officer in the Department of Biological Sciences, was awarded an MBE in this year's New Year's Honours List, for services to Higher Education and to the Community in Coventry.

After over 17 years service, Andrew Paine, the Executive Director of Warwick Commercial Enterprises will leave the University on the 28th February 2005.
