Warwick Welcomes – Martin Wolf, BA Wales, MA Brighton, MCLIP, formerly Information Specialist at Cardiff University, to Social Services Librarian, from 1 June 2004.

University of Warwick disc golfers are streams and bunkers ahead of the rest as they get on par in international competitions. Finance Manager, Derek Robins, came 1st place in the 2004 British Open Disc Golf Championships in Quarry Park, Warwickshire, last week and is heading off to the USA soon to take part in the World Championships.

David Howell, the University’s Grounds and Gardens Superintendent, retired on Friday 16 July after nine years at the University.

The University formally records its gratitude to Peter Dodd who is retiring from the position of University Treasurer on 31 July 2004 after six years in the post.

Warwick Welcomes - Dr Gary Barker, BA, PhD Lond., formerly Research Fellow at the European Centre for Particle Physics Research, to Lecturer in the department of Physics, from 1 August 2004.
