Dr Toby Dodge testifies before the Senate Committee

Dr Toby Dodge, from the Centre for the Study of Globalisation and Regionalisation, an expert on Iraq, has recently testified before the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations at the Committee’s hearings on “The Iraq Transition: Civil War or Civil Society?” in Washington and given evidence before the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Commons during their investigation into: 'Foreign policy aspects of the war against terrorism'.

Professor Susan Bassnett Appointed to Board of Directors of the Quality Assurance Agency

Professor Susan Bassnett, from the Centre for Translation and Comparative Cultural Studies, has recently been appointed a member of the Board of Directors of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education and a member of the jury for The Times Stephen Spender Prize for Poetry in Translation.
