Brian Woods-Scawen, member of the University’s Court and Council and Chair of the Arts Faculty Advisory Board, was awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award by the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Alan Robinson has been appointed to the post of General Manager Sales and Marketing for Warwick Conferences.

Warwick Welcomes – Mr Stephen Brydges, B. Ed C&GCHE, MSc IT Nott., formerly Team Leader in Electronic Information Services at the University of Nottingham, to e-Learning Advisor in IT Services, from 7 January 2004.

With great sadness the University reports the death of David Fowler, Emeritus Reader in the Department of Mathematics, on 13th April 2004, aged 67.

It is with great regret that we report the sudden death of Teja Munasinghe. Teja attended Warwick University from 1985 to 1988 graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Biological Science. He returned to Warwick University in September 2003 when he enrolled on the Warwick University's Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) Secondary Science course.
