Warwick Welcomes - Professor Richard Elliott, BSc London School of Economics, PhD Bradford, formerly Professor in Marketing and Consumer Research in the School of Business and Economics at the University of Exeter, to a Professorship in Marketing in the Warwick Business School, from 1 October 2003.

In mid December the University was sad to learn of the death of Lesley Daniels following a long struggle with Churg Strauss Syndrome.

It is with deep regret, that we report the death of a close friend who became closely linked to the University and, in particular, our sporting community.

Warwick Welcomes - Dr Ruth Davies, BSc Warwick, MSc Birmingham, PhD Southampton, formerly Senior Lecturer in the School of Management, the University of Southampton, to a Professorship in Operational Research and Systems in the Warwick Business School, from 1 October 2003.

Warwick Farewell - Professor Andrew Pettigrew, of the Warwick Business School, from 30 September 2003, to take up a position with the University of Bath.
