Jeannine Mortlock, Executive Programmes’ Senior Business Manager in Warwick Business School, recently ran an innovative programme designed to take delegates away from their usual comfort zone.
Combining three of her passions, food, learning and development, Jeannine devised a task which led a team of staff from TNT Express into the kitchen to help them apply formal learning in a hands-on, practical situation.
Ably supported by Graham Crump, Group Executive Chef at Warwick Conferences, the new team of chefs took to the University House kitchens to devise and prepare an eight course meal within a certain time, dividing up roles and responsibilities and tackling the project with their new business skills.
At the end of the day, the team sat down to a spectacular eight course meal, before wrapping up the project with plenty of washing up.
