Dr Andrew Mead, Warwick HRI, has been appointed President of the International Biometric Society for 2008 having served as Vice-President during 2007. Andrew will continue to serve as President until the end of 2009, and will then serve as Vice-President again during 2010. The International Biometric Society is an international society promoting the development and application of statistical and mathematical theory and methods in biosciences.
