Edward Lynch, Head of Dentistry, part of Warwick Medical School, has been honoured with accredited membership of the prestigious American Society for Dental Aesthetics (ASDA). Fewer than 200 educators, innovators and practitioners worldwide have received this distinguished accredited membership since ASDA was established in 1976.

To mark his membership, Ed was asked to give the keynote address at the annual ASDA congress in San Antonio, Texas. ASDA introduced his address by recognising his efforts in the development of education and research in dentistry and for his many achievements and contributions to the profession.

Ed has also received the UK Outstanding Achievement award from the British Dental Association. He was nominated by his peers and then chosen from a short list of 9 by a judging panel of 13, chaired by the president of the BDA. He was given the award at the official ceremony in Leicester on 10 December 2010.
