The University is sad to announce the death of Professor Gordon Lawrence. Professor Lawrence passed away in Worcester Hospital on Monday 18 July 2011.

Professor Lawrence was the Deputy Principle of the Coventry College of Education when it merged with Warwick in 1978. As part of the merge, he was given the position of Chair of Education, and became a member of the University Senate. He enjoyed his time at Warwick, and has stayed in close contact with the Warwick Graduates Association.
