Message from Registrar

I am delighted to announce that the Vice-Chancellor has confirmed Ian Rowley's appointment to lead the Development and Alumni Relations office alongside his existing responsibilities as Director of Communication and Strategy.

Ian has been interim Director of Development since January and his new role will help bring about a more cohesive approach to the University's external affairs. At the present time there is a great deal of sense (both strategically and financially) for a single Director to oversee corporate communications, stakeholder relations, fundraising and the University Strategy.

In recognition of Ian's wider brief, Peter Dunn will become Acting Head of Communications, assuming some of the day-to-day management responsibilities within the Communications Office.

We wish Ian and his teams every success as he takes up his new post of Director of Development, Communication and Strategy.
