Jenny Holden named Runner-Up in Orange Short Story Competition

Jenny Holden, a graduate holding both a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing and an MA in Writing at Warwick has been named as a runner up in this year’s Orange New Writers’ Short Story competition. Out of 600 original entries, Jenny was one of only three people to make the final shortlist.

Of those selected for the shortlist, Chair of Judges Susan Sandon said "All three writers are immensely talented and I am certain that they all have enormous potential." Jenny will receive a £500 prize for making the shortlist.

On the panel of judges was literary agent Peter Straus, who has now arranged for his agency to take Jenny on.
