Laura Green awarded RASE research medal
Professor Laura Green, from the School of Life Sciences, has recently been awarded the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) research medal in recognition of her outstanding scientific work in reducing footrot in sheep.
The RASE Research Medal was introduced to acknowledge "research work of outstanding merit, carried out in the United Kingdom, which has proved, or is likely to be, of benefit to agriculture".
Laura led an interdisciplinary team of researchers, bringing in appropriate skills as required to best answer questions, presents research in academic situations and has been published widely in peer review journals. She has also been focussed on knowledge transfer to farmers and veterinarians and learning from their practical experience.
