The University is saddened to learn of the death of a first year student, Lawrence Tidd. Lawrence was an undergraduate in the School of Law.

Lawrence died on 16 December 2011. The funeral has taken place, and was attended by friends from his hall of residence. Our thoughts are with Lawrence’s family and friends at this time.

University staff and support professionals are working to support those students who were close to Lawrence. If you would like to speak to someone at this time, there are a number of support services available. The Student Support Services website gives more details.
