Claudie Combelas is co-ordinating and overseeing the University’s 40th Anniversary celebrations next year. (The University received its Royal Charter and took its first intake of undergraduate students in 1965.) This is a significant milestone in our history and every member of the University past and present has contributed to the University’s success. Claudie would like this to be a celebration for everyone and give everybody a chance to get involved.

My last job before coming to Warwick as a mature student was for Allen & Overy, one of the UK’s top law firms, working both in Paris and London.

People are always surprised to learn this about me, but…
I am French with a Dutch mother and I was born in Paris. I moved here when I was 19 and all my family still live abroad.

Now that you are a “grown-up” what would be your “dream job”?
Anything involving travel.

Getting a distinction in my MA in Translation Studies from Warwick last autumn.

If you could change one thing in the University overnight, what would it be?
