Unitemps are pleased to announce that Brandon Ray has been elected to represent the University of Warwick in the Student Employee of the Year Award. This annual award has been organised by the National Association of Student Employment Services (NASES).

Brandon was elected to represent Warwick as a result of a joint nomination by Sam Howarth from Almuni and Development and Ben Plummer from the Warwick Business School. The joint nomination recognised the unique contribution Brandon made to the work in their departments. Unitemps also received glowing references from Casey Leaver for Brandon’s work in the Communications Office.

Brandon, who is in his final year of his History degree, will be winging his way back to the USA after he has taken his final exam. Brandon came to study at Warwick after being selected to take part in the exchange programme run by the University of Warwick in conjunction with the University of South Carolina.

The national award of Student Employee of the Year is open to all undergraduates, who are working part-time to finance their studies. It recognises the impact of students work, both in terms of enhancing their skills base and curriculum vitae but also in terms of bringing new ideas and a fresh approach to their employers.

To recognise his nomination for the National Award, which will be announced in July at the NASES Annual Conference, Kim Martin of Unitemps recently presented Brandon with book tokens and a bottle of champagne.
