Professor Bob Jackson of the Institute of Education is to be awarded a higher doctorate (DLitt) by the University of Wales for his contribution over the last decade to research on religious diversity and education. Professor Jackson’s Research Unit is part of a consortium, based in ten European universities, recently awarded substantial funding from the EU Framework 6 programme to conduct a three year research project on religious diversity and education in Europe.
