Peter Rose - new Warwick Volunteers Manager

Peter Rose has recently taken up the post of Warwick Volunteers Manager, with responsibility for overseeing and developing volunteering opportunities within the local community for students and staff. He will be looking to work with colleagues interested in extending work in the local community, and developing new opportunities for student and staff participation.

Peter has a wealth of experience in managing volunteering projects, including as a Director of a not-for-profit social enterprise specialising in creative support solutions for young people at risk of educational exclusion. He has experience of developing sustainable multi-agency community projects, such as a community learning centre and resource café, and has also spent time developing voluntary sector policy for a local authority.

Speaking about his new role, Peter said,

I have been really impressed with the range of work already undertaken by Warwick Volunteers, and the enthusiasm of the volunteers and staff team. I am very much looking forward to building on the previous success and looking for innovative new opportunities."
