Ron Gray, who joined Warwick as Director of Development and Alumni Relations in 2002, will leave at the end of this month to take up the post of Director of Development at Loughborough University.

Over the past five years Ron has been responsible for building up one of the strongest Development and Alumni Relations teams of any UK university.

Professor Nigel Thrift commented: "We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Ron. With great patience and professionalism Ron has helped the University understand the vital importance of Development and Alumni Relations to Warwick's future. I'm sure we all wish him every success as he moves on to Loughborough."

A search for Ron's replacement has begun in earnest. In the meantime, Ian Rowley will take on interim management for DARO in addition to his responsibilities as Director of Communication.
