Ted Pridgeon - Annual Research Prize Donation

Ted Pridgeon has made a donation to the University which will allow an annual medal to be presented to Medical School undergraduates who produce the best research project.
Ted and his wife, Dr. Myrtle Pridgeon, have had a long association with Warwick. In 1998, Ted gave the University of Warwick a donation of £1.25 million to permanently fund through endowment a research professorship in Neurosciences and in 2002, Dr. Myrtle Pridgeon donated £250,000 to support postgraduate research work in Science and Medicine.
They became the first recipients of the Benefactor’s Medal in December 2006.
