Warwick Farewell - Terry Green

Terry Green, Porter and Driver at University House, is to retire on Friday 5 February after 28 years at the University.

Prior to his time at Warwick, Terry worked for Standard Triumph, Austin Morris and Talbot motor companies in Coventry. Terry joined the University in January 1982 as Temporary Night Security Patrolman and was offered a permanent post in July of that year.

In March 1992 he was promoted to Senior Day Security Patrol Officer and in 1997 received his Long Service Award for 15 years service at the University.

In 1999 Terry moved to the post of Porter Driver, working in Senate House and latterly University House.

His friends and colleagues wish him well for a very happy retirement – he will be missed.
