Professor J. Toby Mottram, School of Engineering, has been awarded a 2011 Service Award by The Institution of Structural Engineers. The Nomination Committee made the award for his "much valued and extensive support to the Midland Counties Branch over a period of many years".

The Service Award was first given in 1988 and of the 80 awardees two belonged to the Midland Counties Branch. Toby will receive his award at the Institution Awards Luncheon in London on Thursday, 2 June 2011.
