WBS student Valerie Yating He has won a place on this year's China Synergy Programme, which offers students of ethnic Chinese origin the opportunity to enjoy a range of experiences in China and to learn about current socio-economical, technological and cultural development in China. To gain a place, Valerie had to fulfil stringent selection criteria including outstanding scholastic achievements, exceptional talent in non-academic areas and leadership qualities demonstrated in extra-curricular activities and/or community services.
