Gillian Owen, Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Management Under Regulation, Warwick Business School, has been appointed to the Board of the Water Services Regulation Authority (Ofwat) as a non-executive director. Ofwat is the economic regulator for the water and sewerage industry in England and Wales and the Board works to protect consumers’ interests and regulate the water industry in a fair and balanced way.
Gillian is also the Policy and Regulation Adviser to the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP). She was previously a member of the Competition Commission, a non-executive director at Ofgem and a member of the Bedfordshire Police Authority.
