Professor Sadie Creese, former director of strategic programmes at QinetiQ, has been appointed as Professor and Director of e-security at the Warwick Digital Laboratory.

Professor Creese will be forming a new team in e-security with experts drawn from industry and academia, engaging with researchers from across the University. The team’s work in the Digital Lab will address key challenges for e-security in future digital environments, such as: how to build e-security solutions useable by non-technical experts; managing risk and balancing cost across digital and physical security environments; providing scalable identity assurance whilst maximising user control of personal credentials; securing dynamic wireless networks and measuring the effectiveness of security solutions.
