Helen is brilliant. She has a really tough job, but despite this she leads with empathy, kindness and clarity. She has a calm, steady presence that makes people feel supported and understood. She’s also brave when it comes to difficult situations. She doesn’t avoid hard conversations or tricky decisions — she tackles them head-on, with fairness and honesty, while still being thoughtful about how others might feel. That balance isn’t easy, but she makes it look that way. What really stands out is how generous she is with her time and energy. If someone needs help, advice, or just a listening ear, Helen is there. She genuinely cares about people and you can feel that in the way she works. And then there’s her dark sense of humour — it lightens my days when I need it! Thank you Helen.
