I would like to dedicate this plaque to Lynne Marston in celebration of International Women’s Day. Lynne is an indispensable member of the IER team, known throughout the department for her unwavering helpfulness and her ability to make everyone feel supported. No matter how busy or demanding the workday becomes, Lynne remains a steady, welcoming presence for staff and students alike.

Her contribution to the University goes beyond her technical role; she is a community builder. Lynne has a unique talent for solving problems with a smile and ensuring that no one feels overlooked. Her proactive approach and "can-do" attitude have helped steer the IER through many busy periods, making her a trusted and highly respected peer. Lynne’s warmth and dedication create the kind of supportive workplace culture that allows everyone around her to flourish. I am proud to recognise her for her hard work and the significant impact she makes on our daily lives at Warwick. She truly deserves this recognition for her years of service and her kind heart.
