Lisa Drummond is someone who I have had the pleasure of getting to know as a student and now as staff. Lisa is always genuinely interested to not just listen but understand questions, ideas and challenges being experienced by students and staff and how things can be improved to support all. Lisa will always welcome you with a smile, check in and make sure you have what you need and make you feel at ease. There have been plenty of times when I have been nervous about trialling a new initiative or sending out an invite to hundreds of people and Lisa has always given the time to review and the confidence to press send or to run with an idea. It is this trust, encouragement and support that really does make all the difference. Lisa is an incredibly giving and kind person who is brilliant at what she does and will crack on with whatever needs to be done. It is because of Lisa's hard work, kindness and skill is something to be recognised, rewarded and cherished. I feel incredibly lucky to know Lisa, as I know so many others are too.
