I want to recognise Sophie Meeson for the genuinely positive impact she has as a manager. Sophie creates an environment built on trust, warmth, and flexibility, which allows me to do my role at my best. She consistently offers thoughtful encouragement, gives honest answers, and delivers feedback in a way that is both constructive and kind. Despite carrying a role of extraordinary scale for her grade and supporting multiple teams, she remains steady, approachable, and deeply committed to being a great manager. That commitment is reflected in the morale and wellbeing of the staff around her. Her phrase, “I hear you,” is more than words, it’s something she lives by, and I want her to know how much that is valued and appreciated.
