Siobhan Qadir is a Senior Careers Consultant at University of Warwick who brings warmth, integrity and unwavering dedication to everything she does. She is deeply committed to supporting both staff and students, always encouraging them to recognise their strengths and move forward with confidence. Her positivity is genuine and uplifting, creating a safe and empowering space for those seeking guidance. Even while managing personal challenges of her own, Siobhan continues to show up for others. She makes time for anyone who approaches her, offering thoughtful advice, reassurance and practical support. Working across three departments, she also leads on careers provision for international students and played a key role in the nomination for the 2025 UKCISA Awards, which was shortlisted in the Careers and Employability category (a reflection of the meaningful difference she makes) She also Co-hosts the CareerChat podcast, created especially to support international students as they navigate career pathways, while offering insights and advice that benefit the entire university community. Siobhan is adaptable and responsive to the evolving needs of her role. She can be clear and direct, yet always kind, and she is known for truly listening. Committed to continuous development, she actively seeks to grow her own skills, including learning new languages. Above all, she collaborates generously, constantly looking for ways to enhance and strengthen the careers service at Warwick.
