PGRs at the Medical School are supported wholeheartedly by Francesca. Whenever you have a question or feel unsure about something, she is always there, ready to provide an answer if she can, or to guide you towards finding one. Her steady support makes PhD life truly better. For many of us, especially on the more stressful days of the PhD journey, Francesca is the much‑needed ray of sunshine to help us navigate any challenges we may have. This Women’s Day, I celebrate Francesca for the light she brings to our community especially her compassion, strength, and remarkable ability to uplift everyone around her.
