I am nominating Stef Pool to recognise the immense dedication and expertise she brings to the Institute for Employment Research. Stef is far more than a colleague; she is a foundational pillar of our department. In a research-intensive environment that can often feel fast-paced and complex, Stef operates with a level of grace and precision that is truly inspiring.

She possesses a remarkable ability to navigate administrative challenges while always keeping the human element at the forefront of her work. Stef’s commitment to excellence ensures that the IER functions at its highest potential, but it is her kindness and willingness to support others that truly set her apart. She leads by example, demonstrating how professional rigour and personal empathy can go hand-in-hand. This International Women’s Day, I want to thank Stef for her tireless hard work and the inclusive, positive environment she helps foster every day at the University of Warwick. She is a brilliant example of the "Women of Warwick" spirit.
