The Sustrans' Connect2 project has been revealed as the winner of the People’s £50 Million Lottery Giveaway, scooping £50 million of lottery money to spend on a national network of walking and cycling routes which will directly benefit the University and Kenilworth.

Connect 2 took 42% of the votes. The UK-wide project will transform local travel in 79 cities, towns and villages, by creating new walking and cycling routes, including a proposed Kenilworth-University cycle route.
