Free theatre tickets for Warwick Arts Centre

Theatre

Please note that the 'A Night Less Ordinary' initiative closed at the end of March 2011.

Warwick Arts Centre is giving away free theatre tickets as part of a nationwide scheme to encourage young people to take an interest in the arts.

'A Night Less Ordinary' is an Arts Council England initiative in association with Metro, which will provide 618,000 free theatre tickets to anyone under 26 in more than 200 venues across England.

Starting in half term on the 17th February, theatre fans will be able to attend such upcoming productions at Warwick Arts Centre as family spectacle La La Luna or The Tiger Lillies’ cabaret take on ‘The Little Match Girl’.

Warwick Arts Centre's Katie Anderson, said: "Warwick Arts Centre wholeheartedly supports this new initiative by the Arts Council as it supports our key belief that the arts should be accessible to all. We already support lots of projects that encourage young people to participate, experience and enjoy the arts and this is another strand that will help under 26s develop a love of theatre.

"We sincerely hope that the people of Coventry and Warwickshire will be encouraged to take up our offer of 2000 free tickets over the course of this year and have a fantastic night out."
