Support 'Coventry Cares'
The University of Warwick is a supporter of Coventry Cares, which aims to connect employees to their communities. Coventry Cares and other similar Cares partnerships around the country harnesses the skills, time and talents of employees to make a difference in the local community.
Many of the University’s staff have already offered their services and given up some of their spare time to take part in a number of Coventry Cares events, some of which have included:
If you are interested in supporting the Coventry Care initiative then please attend the informal exhibition by Coventry Care which will be held in the atrium of University House on Thursday 16th September, from 12-2pm. Come along and find out how you can get involved in volunteering yourself for projects in the local community.

A ‘Disability in Action’ day at Hereward College in Tile Hill, whereby University staff joined forces with employees from other local businesses to bring about a sensory garden makeover.
Taking part in workshops with the aim of giving advice on work-related matters such as completing application forms and attending interviews.
Staff and students took part in a 'Health Action Day' at Limbrick Wood Primary School in Tile Hill, running a mushroom growing workshop with kits provided by Warwick HRI.
A number of staff have also joined the 'Right to Read' project, using their lunchtimes to help a young child in a local school to read.
