Warwick Conferences celebrated yet another successful year of fun and fundraising as they presented £1500 to local schools following their New Year Burns Night bash.

The Scottish themed party had over 150 guests dressed up and dancing to celebrate a great year for the award winning conference and meetings venue.

The tartan flowing celebration had party-goers swinging to the sounds of a Rod Stewart tribute act, eating haggis and singing "Auld Lang Syne".

The festivities were an opportunity for Warwick Conferences to show gratitude to their most valued customers but also enable them to raise money for two worthy causes to help boost their fund-raising programme of activities over the Christmas and New Year periods.

The donations collected over the course of the evening's entertainment meant that cheques for £749.50 could be presented to both the Exhall Grange School and Westwood School and Community College.

Amanda Simpson, Marketing and Communications Manager at Warwick Conferences commented, "This was our way of saying a big thank you to our clients for their support throughout 2004 and at the same time raising funds for local causes, so we are delighted that a good time was had by all."

She continued, "We feel the event was a tremendous success and we look forward to welcoming many of the party-goers back for another New Year celebration in 2006."

Roger Whittall, Head Teacher of Westwood, and Richard Bignell, Head Teacher of Exhall Grange, were thrilled to receive such a donation, both schools provide specialist educational facilities for children ranging from 2 - 19 years of age.

The event was another example of Warwick Conferences continued development in their relationship with the two schools, which they hope to maintain through the year.
